Terms & Conditions for my Reading Groups

Welcome to The Cotswold Book Nook Reading Groups. I'm thrilled to have you join my community of book lovers.

To ensure a positive experience for everyone, please familiarise yourself with my T&C's.

Courtesy and Respect

I ask all members to treat each other with courtesy and respect during our discussions. My aim is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and opinions.

Please listen actively and allow others to express themselves without interruption. Disagreements are natural but they should always be handled respectfully.

Payments and my Cancellation Policy

New members joining from April 2026 onwards

New members joining existing groups or the new June group will pay £3, plus a small booking platform fee, for each session (PAYG). This payment is refundable up until 5 days before the event, after which it becomes non-refundable.

Existing members who joined before April 2026

A new yearly membership fee will be introduced in either the Autumn or Winter 2026.
Details will be provided to existing members nearer the time. 

Payments

I use the Eventbrite platform for bookings and payments to ensure a secure and efficient process. This will apply to Author Talks and Book Group Outings etc, unless I agree otherwise with individuals. 

Please Note: The monthly Raffle monies are collected in CASH ONLY at the group meeting. 

Non Attendance

Please contact me via our WhatsApp Group or a more private direct WhatsApp message if you can't attend at short notice. This way I know not to expect you or wait for you at the Group.
