My Bookish Mission

Hi, I'm Jane the Founder and Host of The Cotswold Book Nook Reading Groups.

I aim to create a welcoming and enjoyable gathering for everyone who shares a love of reading.

Once a month I host my three Reading Groups in cosy coffee shops/cafes in Gloucester, the heart of the local community. Two groups meet on a Monday morning and the other one (my original group) meets on a Wednesday morning.

I gently facilitate my Book Clubs in a way that makes all of my members feel included and listened to. I offer you a welcoming space where you can discover new perspectives, authors and genres, engage in fun and lively conversations and make new friends.

I am passionate about books and reading! Therefore, I thoroughly enjoy being able to encourage local readers to discuss their books of choice with other like minded individuals. 

There are WhatsApp Groups for all Book Clubs to keep you up-to-date. 

My Book Clubs are only open to over 18's.

What makes my Reading Groups different?

• We don't all read the 'same' book.

• You can choose our reading theme if you like. 

• The original Reading Group - Group One is FREE, Group Two has a small annual membership fee and Group Three is PAYG per meeting.

• You can read 'any' format of book. This includes listening to audio books. 

• I run a monthly raffle at some of my groups.

• We always meet in person. 

• I arrange a variety of engaging bookish events.

• My WhatsApp Groups and Social Media will keep you up-to-date with useful information such as meeting dates, reading themes, in person Author events, social events and my T&C's.
